Rural Route

For many years this was my drive home, traveling over the hills and through the woods as the highway follows along the river.  Previously I painted this c.1880 barn from the other side, looking east on a rainy day.  This view to the west show off the hazy coastal mountains and popcorn clouds, with a light marine layer out over the ocean.  It is a beautiful drive both directions, all times of the day.
